We are excited to host Lebanon Pavilion at Carassauga Festival of Cultures. Carassauga is an annual multicultural festival that is held on the fourth weekend of May in Mississauga, Ontario. This year Carassauga is celebrating its 38th annual festival. Carassauga is a feast of colour, food, dance, music and costumes of people from different cultures. Mississauga and surrounding communities come together to experience and enjoy the sights, sounds and flavours of many countries represented in 25 pavilions at various locations across Mississauga.

Live, Love Lebanon ... Tour Lebanon in two days and enjoy the extraordinary of entertainment, exhilarating performances, informative displays, exhibits and cultural food. Come and explore this family fun event at Lebanon pavilion.
Entertainment:
*Friday May 26, 2023 (7:30 pm - 10:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm): Opening Ceremony at the Portugese Cultural Center of Mississauga - 53 Queen St. N.
Multi shows presented by “Maysaloun Dance Group” and "ACCO Youth Group" with (96) performers on stage. These musical and cultural shows are inspired by many famous Lebanese artists such as; Fairuz, Sabah, Wadih El-Safi, Gibran K. Gibran, Talal Haidar, Rahbani Brothers, Walid Gholmieh, and Zaki Nassif. It takes our visitors on a journey touring all Lebanese districts. These shows are a highlight of Lebanon's rich culture, heritage, and history. It includes various sketches and performances such as; cultural folk dances (dabkeh), figure and belly dances in a vibrant colourful handmade costumes accompanied with singing and amazing music.

*Saturday May 27, 2023. The two consecutive shows are scheduled at every EVEN hour from 12:00 noon till the last show at 10:00 p.m. Special performances by Natalie G. Music from 6:00 p.m.
*Sunday May 28, 2023. The two consecutive shows are scheduled at every EVEN hour from 12:00 noon till the last show at 6:00 p.m.
Documentary: A documentary highlighting Lebanon history, culture and tourism and a bio about some Lebanese Legends will run between the shows.
Exhibits: Enjoy many colorful and informative displays of cultural posters, paintings, artizana, fashions, arts, crafts, and jewelry.
Arabic Calligraphy Booth: Visitors will get to learn about the history of the Lebanese Alphabet and get their names written in Arabic for FREE.
Arabian Setting Booth: Visitors can stop by for a FREE photo in Lebanese traditional costume.
Kids' Fun Zone: Will include face painting, henna tattoo, mini games, and lots of fun throughout the festival weekend.
Cuisine: Lebanon is well known for its rich, healthy, and delicious cuisine, which is among the most varied and savory in the world. We invite you to taste some of our essential dishes; tabbouli, hummus, moutabal, vine leaves rolls, falafel, pastries, shawarma, shish tawouk, kafta and kibbeh. Also, enjoy our Lebanese sweets such as baklawa, maamoul, nammora, and sfoof.
Location: We are located at Paramount Fine Foods Center (Community Rinks 2, Door C) at 5500 Rose Cherry Place (North of Matheson Blvd. East, one block east of Kennedy Rd.) in Mississauga.
FREE Shuttle Bus stops at our pavilion to transfer visitors among all pavilions' locations across Mississauga.
